You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the delivery station, overseeing the under-the-roof (UTR) operation that focuses on the end-to-end process inside the building. You will lead a team of Process Assistants and Associates in daily activities, including operational execution, performance reviews, training sessions, and communication with stakeholders and senior leadership.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Promoting a culture of safetyEnsuring that people are properly trained and their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobsSupporting and assigning job duties to process assistants and associatesAdapting to sudden changes and growth according to operational necessities, due to the nature of Amazon's businessTracking and monitoring sorting operations and driver dispatchHelping with in-station operations: receiving, scanning, lifting, and moving shipments up to 25 kgKey job responsibilitiesManage staff,



resources, consumables, and key metrics for the delivery station.Coordinate operative meetings, communicate with support areas, handle proper escalations, and analyze data.Plan shifts, audit plans, and execute daily operations.A day in the lifeConducts Gemba walks and audit plansManage shift start-upsExecute safety audits, walks, and meetingsVerify daily operations plan, volume, attendance, and route planningEngage with associates, completes performance audits, and conduct quality inspectionsComplete reports (Daily Ops Plan, Daily Call Outs, End of Shift Report) and address any discrepancies in reporting toolsHolds end-of-shift meetings with leadership team to review performance opportunities and establish action plansPerform shift handoff to incoming Shift Manager (in person or email) and preview next-day plansBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree or equivalentSpeak, write, and read fluently in English1+ years of employee and performance management experienceWork a versátil schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysCan push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shiftsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experienceOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
