JOB SUMMARY* - May lead a small team of planners to ensure that production is completed as efficient as possible. - Responsible to develop systems to improve site efficiency utilizing all available resources to plan production while meeting customer requirements and inventory targets RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:




- Leads preparation of schedules and ensures timely completion of work orders for manufacturing processes.
- Leads customer service and inventory results for their assigned codes.
- Leads analysis of product demand, sales patterns, forecasts, production specifications and plant capacity data.
- Identifies raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production.
- Monitors planning modules or production planning systems and related information
- Drive opportunities for lead time improvements.
- Act as the business unit manager’s customer service champion and recommend actions to achieve service and inventory objectives.
- Provides guidance on any activity that affects capacity required to achieve the short-term production volume, which would include making recommendation to the business unit manager on the need to run overtime to achieve the production requirements.
