Main Responsabilities:
- Ensures availability of direct material in support of the OFP process for Coahuila Site.
- Participates on multi-functional teams that work on improving the Supply Management OFP process of procuring direct material to support production.
- Ensures supplier performance and material flow from the supplier to the manufacturing unit to support daily production needs.
- Assigns “Achieving Excellence” non-conformances for delivery and provides input on wavelength and technical support for the suppliers assigned.
- Performs supplier delinquency reports to assess and solve material supply issues.
- Ensures continuous supply of material and sets up expedited freight when required.
- Processes MRP Exception messages (order move-ins and move-outs) from ERP system (SAP).
- Uses CSR (Critical Shortage Report) to discover trends and lead continuous improvement efforts with suppliers such that future supply issues may be avoided.
- Ensures proper ASN submission from suppliers and solves aged ASNs to guarantee invoices are paid in a timely fashion.
