Under direct supervision, performs a variety of administrative tasks related to the temporary importation of materials and the exportation of temporary products.
Job Requirements:
- Provides the Mexican customs broker with the relevant information needed to consolidate import entries.
- Verifies compliance with established delivery schedules and quantities of goods with Warehouse personnel.
- If the goods meet all requirements, the import is processed immediately.
- If the goods do not meet all requirements, performs all necessary procedures such as maquila program updates and, if applicable, sectoral promotion.
- Updates the export database.
- Provides both the U.S. and Mexican customs brokers with the required information to ensure the correct tariff classification.
- Verifies that Warehouse has the correct list of materials to be exported.
- Prepares the export invoice.
- Coordinates the export process by ensuring the following: driver punctuality,
and confirming that customs documentation in both Mexico and the United States has been properly prepared.
- Provides the Mexican customs broker with the necessary information to consolidate export entries.
- Files declarations for the payment of foreign trade contributions.
- Receives and reviews documentation from customs brokers for declarations and for the preparation of statistics required by the government (SECOFI, SHCP, INEGI, etc.).
- Reviews and provides all information required by the system for its operation.
- Performs maintenance on the Delta System to ensure its proper functioning.
- Performs any activity requested by the Traffic and Customs Coordinator and/or the Materials Manager.
