Objective of the position
Takes responsibility for the development and qualification of quality gages for carline projects at all interior sites in the region Americas. Coordinates and assures implementation of required changes to gages in series production or their necessary repair. Expert related to gages within the region Americas.

Principal Activities:
- Act as an internal and external contact for all gage related questions (incl. development, maintenance, repair) within the Organization and provides related technical expertise.




- Review and provide input to DAK/STM for alignment and SPC content for Gages.
- Estimate fixture and gage cost for new program acquisition budgets
- Create RFQ’s and SC for each customer specific fixture development project.
- Work with Purchasing to support fixture sourcing through scorecard activities.
- Manage and track the transfer of all necessary data and drawings to the gage supplier.
- Conduct concept reviews with suppliers during gage design process along with Project Team based on machining process.
- Manage the gage design approval process with customer and plant representatives.
- Create and maintain a tracking matrix to include all required fixtures for each program.
- Monitor proper implementation of agreed plans by the fixture supplier to assure fixture availability in accordance to defined timelines, costs and quality expectations.
