Job Summary:
The Financial ERP Implementation Specialist is a hands-on, project-based individual contributor responsible for supporting the configuration, testing, and deployment of a financial ERP system. This role partners closely with Finance, IT,
and external implementation partners to ensure financial processes are accurately translated into system functionality and successfully delivered within the project timeline.
This position focuses on execution, detailed analysis, and functional expertise.
Responsibilities:
Financial ERP Functional Support
- Support functional configuration and validation of financial modules, including:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Fixed Assets
- Cash Management
- Document business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications
Testing & Data Activities
- Execute and support system testing activities
- Validate financial postings, reports, and reconciliations
- Support data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation
Controls, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure system design supports accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and internal control requirements
- Validate audit trails, approvals, and segregation of duties within the ERP
- Support financial reporting and close requireme
