Role Description

SHIMADZU MÉXICO, S.A. DE C.V. is seeking an experienced Técnico de Ventas with a strong background in LCMS sales to support the growth of our Analytical & Measuring Instruments business.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mexico City, with primary responsibility for expanding Shimadzu's LCMS business. The role is expected to cover Mexico and, progressively, Central America.
We are looking for someone who can go beyond maintaining existing accounts and proactively develop new customers, markets, applications, and sales opportunities. The successful candidate will manage the full sales process, from opportunity generation and technical proposal through competitive positioning, commercial negotiation, and closing.
In addition to achieving individual sales results, this position will work closely with Shimadzu's Application, Service, and other technical teams, as well as our distributors, while contributing to the improvement of sales pipeline management, forecasting, distributor activities, and overall sales processes.

Key Responsibilities




- Develop and execute sales and market development activities for LCMS solutions.
- Identify and develop new customers, applications, markets, and sales opportunities.
- Manage the complete sales process, including customer visits, needs assessment, technical proposals, system configuration proposals, competitive positioning, price negotiation, and closing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and technical stakeholders.
- Continuously manage the sales pipeline, including Opportunity Stage, Probability, Expected Closing Date, opportunity value, Next Action, and required support.
- Work closely with distributors to identify target markets and target customers, generate RFQs, develop opportunities, and secure orders.
