Job Description
Bosch is seeking a
Supplier Quality Engineer
to join its purchasing team. This role is responsible for ensuring that component suppliers meet
Bosch and automotive industry standards , minimizing quality-related disruptions to production. The engineer will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with industry requirements. Key Responsibilities: Supplier Claims Management:
Oversee supplier claims, coordinate containment actions, and ensure the availability of certified components for manufacturing. Be the focal point to the coordination of 8D's with supplier assuring TRC / MRC and the necessary actions. Defect Cost Recovery & Concessions:
Track defect costs, manage concessions, and ensure adherence to processes.



Audits & Compliance:
Conduct supplier and internal audits, ensuring compliance with
automotive quality standards . Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement:
Lead and participate in
problem-solving activities
and
Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) . Sorting & Defect Management:
Ensure proper sorting operations, including inspector training, defect catalog application, and NOK (non-conforming) part segregation. KPI & Process Tracking:
Monitor
local KPIs , update
PBI reports
(scrap, costs, etc.), and lead
task forces
for quality improvement. PPAP & Supplier Quality Improvement:
Support the
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
and lead initiatives to improve supplier quality.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Engineering
or a related technical field from an accredited institution. Experience:
Minimum
5 years
of experience in
Quality Assurance , preferably in an automotive or
