The company was founded in 1967 to provide middle school travel programs to Washington, D.WorldStrides offers experiential learning programs in educational travel, performing arts, language immersion, career exploration, service-learning, study abroad, and sports. WorldStrides is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to design, build, and support secure, scalable integrations across enterprise systems, third-party platforms, and internal applications. This role will be part of our technology team in Mérida, Mexico and will help improve how our systems connect, exchange data, and support business operations.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, Azure API Management, REST and SOAP APIs, message queues, pub/sub patterns, Azure DevOps, and Git. Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform is a plus, but not required.
In this role, the Integration Engineer will work closely with architects, product owners, analysts, developers, QA, DevOps,



and business stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable integration solutions. The right candidate will bring a strong engineering mindset, good communication skills, and the ability to build clean, maintainable, and secure integration workflows.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support secure and scalable integrations across enterprise systems, third-party platforms, and internal applications.
Build and manage REST APIs using Azure API Management / APIM and related API lifecycle practices.
Work hands-on with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, Azure Web Apps, Azure SQL, and Microsoft Entra ID.
Develop REST and SOAP APIs using JSON, XML, and common data transformation patterns.
Develop integration solutions, automation scripts, and internal tools using Python and Microsoft Azure services.
