The Regional Tax Manager leads tax matters for the company's operations in the United States and Mexico, ensuring compliance, accurate tax reporting, effective risk management, and optimized tax positions across direct and indirect taxes. The role operates within company tax policy and controls, partners with regional Finance and the business, and reports to the Head of Tax, acting as the reference tax expert for the region.
Key Missions - Compliance, Reporting & Controls
Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance for US and Mexico entities across corporate income tax (US federal and state; Mexican ISR), indirect taxes (US sales & use tax; Mexican IVA), and withholding taxes.
Manage US and Mexico tax-return preparation and filing, coordinating internal teams and external advisors.
Own regional tax provisions and tax accounting (ASC 740 / IFRS)



and coordinate current and deferred tax reporting with Company Tax and Accounting.
Ensure compliance with local specificities - e.g. Manage the IMMEX / maquiladora regime obligations and benefits for Mexican manufacturing operations, including safe-harbor and compliance requirements.
Maintain tax controls, documentation, and SOX / tax-control compliance across the region and manage tax calendars and payment obligations.
Monitor US and Mexican tax-law developments and assess their impact on the company's entities and positions.
Key Missions - Planning, Controversy & Business Partnering
Identify and implement tax-optimization and planning opportunities, including credits and incentives (e.g. US R&D; credit and clean-energy incentives; Support transfer-pricing compliance and documentation in the region, in coordination with the Company Transfer Pricing function.
