Market Performance Associate - Ocean GatewayDescription:
As the Market Performance Associate for Ocean Gateway, you will be responsible for the ground performance strategy and planning within your assigned markets.
Your main objective is to achieve over 95% destination On-Time Performance (OTP) by proactively managing all operational elements, including terminals, Shipping Line (SSL) carriers, rail providers, warehouses, and truckers, to consistently meet our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
A key part of this role involves driving exceptional vendor performance. You will coach vendors, serve as their primary escalation point, and act as a technical support liaison. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Trucking Procurement team to adjust volume allocations and provide insights into trucking market needs, which will help prioritize onboarding efforts. Working within Ocean Gateway, you will maintain close ties with your Gateway Execution peers, gathering crucial feedback directly from the operators who handle the containers.
