KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Protect product design intent while resolving manufacturing constraints.
* Support Model Year (MY) Launch from digital build through physical builds,
including quality planning, issue tracking, and containment for critical
issues.
* Provide technical leadership for cross-functional teams in applying quality
initiatives.
* Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for root cause analysis and corrective
actions.
* Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and standards for plant
personnel.
* Drive process variation reduction and advanced problem-solving to mitigate
risks.
* Warranty: Analyze customer claims, lead teams for issue resolution, deploy
information to the plant floor for containment, track trends, and prepare
monthly reports for management.
* Engineering Changes & Deviations: Evaluate impact of product changes on plant
operations (installation, ergonomics, safety, tooling, obsolescence),
coordinate implementation, and lead discussions for robust solutions.
* Global Issue Management (GIM): Submit and track warranty issues, gather
evidence,



and ensure closure within 48 hours.
* New Product Launch: Manage product introduction, containment, and issue
identification; lead RCA efforts and present updates to top management.
* Internal Plant KPIs: Manage issue lists (PDCA/Pareto), lead root cause
analysis, implement solutions, and report status to plant management.
* Additional Support: Intervene in critical cases (yard, PRI), lead Q-teams,
apply escalation processes, and present status in recurring meetings.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent
experience).
* 5+ years of experience in automotive assembly/manufacturing.
* Proficiency in English (written and spoken) with strong communication and
negotiation skills.
* Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint; effective presentation/public speaking
abilities.
