An Aerospace Lead Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Querétaro México, supporting Aerospace engineering programs. This is a full-time position with benefits.
We are seeking a Mechanical/Aerospace Design Engineer with strong engineering fundamentals and hands‐on knowledge of aerospace product development, manufacturing processes and field/service findings.
The idóneo candidate will be capable of working on hardware with varying levels of definition, translating engineering requirements into practical design solutions, evaluating design concepts, and supporting products throughout the engineering development cycle.
The Lead engineer will support and lead multiple projects and collaborate closely with design, stress, materials, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and test organizations. The position requires strong technical judgment, problem‐solving skills, and the ability to independently develop and communicate engineering solutions.
Support the complete product development cycle,



from requirements definition and conceptual design through preliminary design, detailed design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and product maturity.
Develop engineering concepts considering structural integrity, functionality, durability, weight, producibility, maintainability, cost, and schedule.
Perform and/or support mechanical engineering analyses and hand calculations, including static strength, stiffness, load paths, thermal effects, fatigue/durability, fastener joints, bearing/bushing interfaces, and tolerance effects.
Evaluate mechanical interfaces and component interactions, including clearances, fits, tolerances, joints, attachment features, and assembly conditions.
Select and evaluate materials and manufacturing processes based on mechanical performance, operating environment, durability, producibility, and cost.
