The Software Supplier Manager role is an essential member of the software development team.
Our TMs work with teams of experienced and highly skilled project and technical leaders in the delivery of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), User Experience (UX), Radar, and Compute and Security (C&S;) products. The key job functions for the Software Supplier Manager are as follows:
Responsible for identifying, selecting, and managing suppliers to develop reliable and safe software.
Maintain comprehensive contract (SOW) documentation to include negotiating favorable terms with SOW vendors, including scope, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Support Project team in coordinating the delivery of software from SOW teams, in accordance with Aptiv's quality expectations while ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers and rack software quality, reliability, and performance metrics
Analyzing data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing strategies to improve SOW team performance.
