Position Summary
Technical position part of Portfolio management, responsible for the development & implementation of profitability improvement projects for launches and post-SOP programs for multiple customers. Key focus areas are the generation, evaluation and implementation of cost reduction ideas impacting the total product cost on electromechanical products through design, process and resourcing changes.



Highly visible role through interaction on all levels and with all functions.

What can you look forward as a VAVE Engineer:
- Generate cost savings ideas (e.g: design changes, process changes, supplier resourcing, …) by leading various internal and external activities (e.g supplier/in-house workshops, benchmarking activities, etc…)
- Drive with the cross-functional team the evaluation of cost reduction ideas in terms of technical feasibility, financial benefit, quality impact, risks and customer acceptance
- Collect inputs from various stakeholders, prepare business case and presentations to support business decisions and obtain Management approvals
- Track detailed status, monitor development & implementation progress for multiple VAVE projects, propose mitigation plans in case of deviations/roadblocks; escalat as required
- Generate reports at various Management level
