Forvis Mazars is seeking an ITS Manager

The primary goal of an ITS Manager at Forvis Mazars Mexico is to ensure that our clients’ cross-border operations are fully compliant with both Mexican and international tax regulations while optimizing their overall tax burden. This is achieved by:
- Applying bilateral treaties and the Multilateral Instrument to prevent double taxation.
- Designing and reviewing tax-efficient structures (e.g., dividend decrees, cross-border restructurings).
- Leading SAT audits and due diligence reviews with minimal client disruption.
- Delivering actionable insights that align tax planning with clients’ business objectives and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee project budgets, proposals, and deliverables.
- Serve as primary technical advisor and relationship manager for domestic and international clients.
- Ensure compliance by coordinating monthly/annual tax calculations, filings, and electronic reporting.
- Lead SAT audits and due diligence reviews to minimize risk and client disruption.




- Analyze and apply Mexican and international tax laws and treaties (LISR, LIVA, CFF, Multilateral Instrument).
- Structure and review equity transactions, dividend decrees, and reportable tax-planning schemes.
- Mentor and manage project teams, driving quality, timelines, and stakeholder communication
- Craft executive-level memoranda and reports in English and Spanish for both clients and leadership.

Qualification Preferences:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related
- +7 years in corporate tax or equivalent roles
- Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency
- Expertise in CONTPAQi (or similar), SAT systems (DIM/DEM/DIOT), and the provisional payments portal
- Skilled in tax research tools (Checkpoint, Sisthemis)
- Proven team leader with strong client-relationship and business-development skills
- Demonstrates technical excellence, integrity, and a results-driven mindset
