In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely accounting records across assigned portfolios, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring full compliance with Mexican tax regulations. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong focus on results and a proactive mindset toward process improvement and technology adoption
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly bank account reconciliations
- Record and control fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization.
- Process accounts payable transactions and record payroll payments in coordination with HR.
- Book collections, early payments, and pay-off transactions.
- Prepare and record creditable VAT and withheld taxes (IVA acreditable y retenciones).
- Review and stamp Commission Fee CFDIs; authorize invoice cancellations when applicable.
- Ensure timely filing of monthly provisional tax returns through the SAT portal.
- Prepare workpapers for monthly close, ensuring accurate journal entries and account balances.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for the Accounting Manager.
- Effectively utilize accounting and ERP systems.
- Maintain openness to AI-assisted tools for data extraction, anomaly detection, and report generation.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Education:Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting (Contador Público), Finance, or a related field (Required).
Experience: 35 years of accounting experience, preferably within financial services, FinTech, or regulated industries.
Practical experience with electronic invoicing (CFDI), the SAT web portal, and Mexican tax obligations (ISR, IVA, retenciones)
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Contpaq, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar) (Required).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Familiarity with AI tools or automation platforms applied to accounting is a strong differentiator.
