How you will create an impact
- Assisting underwriters in evaluating insurance applications
- Reviewing risk submissions and determine if they meet underwriting guidelines, relevant underwriting authority and AIG principles.
- Gathering and verifying information from various sources, such as clients, agents, and databases.
- Assisting in the preparation of underwriting reports and proposals.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as claims and sales, to ensure accurate risk assessment.




- Providing support in policy issuance and endorsement processes.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of underwriting activities.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and changes in underwriting guidelines.
- Providing excellent customer service to clients and agents, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s, graduating in 2026 (or 2024/2025: Administration, Finance, Accounting and other related courses and availability for full-time employment, starting in July.
- Passion for Corporate Finance.
- Enthusiastic and committed to pursuing a career in the general insurance industry.
- Advanced English Skills.
- Excellent computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of applications
- A curious nature and a customer service mindset with good communication skills (verbal and written).
