The Role

The Junior IT Support Specialist provides foundational first-line technical support,

hardware setup, and basic application administration across K2’s general workforce. Working as

part of the internal IT team, this role ensures fast resolution of daily IT tickets, optimal equipment

provisioning, and smooth digital onboarding for new employees.

The position supports all aspects of K2's local office infrastructure and vital business software,

maintaining high service availability in line with corporate service standards. Key internal

stakeholders include regional staff, HR onboarding teams, local operations leads, and senior IT

team members.

Tasks and Responsibilities

● Provide first-line technical support to internal staff, resolving hardware, software, and

network access requests within established IT SLAs.

● Configure and deploy IT workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, access points,

and peripherals following standard operating procedures.

● Administer basic user lifecycle processes, including account creation, license

provisioning,



and basic access control across Google Workspace and core business

platforms.

● Triage incoming service tickets within Salesforce/helpdesk systems, resolving baseline

requests and escalating complex issues to higher-tier support.

● Maintain accurate records of IT hardware inventory, tracking equipment assignments,

repairs, and returns across regional offices.

● Assist with basic local office network maintenance, monitoring Wi-Fi access points,

printer connectivity, and conference room media equipment.

Success Indicators

● Consistently meets first-line ticket response and resolution time targets within defined IT

SLAs.

● Maintains high user satisfaction ratings across corporate technical helpdesk requests.

● Ensures accurate workstation pre-configuration and timely onboarding readiness for new

hires.

● Maintains precise, real-time records of hardware inventory and asset allocations across
