The Fixed Assets & Treasury Analyst supports the management of fixed assets and banking operations across Mexico and the U.S. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day activities, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with corporate policies, and supporting month-end close and reporting processes. The position works closely with the AP, Treasury & Fixed Assets Lead and contributes to operational efficiency and financial control.
Key Responsibilities
Fixed Assets (Mexico & U.S.)
- Support fixed asset lifecycle activities, including capitalization, asset transfers, and disposals.
- Perform asset tagging and maintain accurate fixed asset records in the system.
- Assist in the execution of physical inventories and validation of asset existence.
- Monitor idle assets and support reporting and follow-up actions.
- Participate in Gemba walks and provide support during asset verification processes.
Treasury Operations
- Execute daily cash application activities, including postings and clearing transactions in the system (GMAR).
- Support the preparation and execution of manual payments in accordance with corporate approvals.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of treasury transactions.
- Assist in maintaining proper controls over cash movements and documentation.
Month-End Close & Reporting
- Support month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations related to fixed assets and treasury.
- Perform HFM uploads for small entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
- Assist in ensuring alignment between financial systems (SAP, HFM, and others).
Controls & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal controls.
- Support audits by providing documentation and analysis related to fixed assets and treasury transactions.
- Identify and elevate discrepancies, supporting root cause analysis and resolution.
