At Helix, our engineering teams build the systems that make genomic medicine real — from the lab bench to the internal tools that power our operations.



We’re hiring Software Engineers II across two teams. Depending on your background and interests, you may be matched to one of the following:
- Lab Systems (LABS) - Lab Systems (LABS) — Owns the laboratory-facing services that keeps Helix’s sequencing & supply chain operations running. You’ll build and maintain scalable platforms and fullstack software that support the lab and integrates with analysis pipelines: lab workflows, instrument automations, sample accessioning, inventory management and distribution.
- Enterprise Tools / AI Swarm - Builds AI-native internal tooling that gives every Helix team superpowers. You’ll own internal projects end-to-end: taking stakeholder requirements, deciding on the technical approach, and building working solutions using AI-assisted development, with senior engineer review before anything ships.
