What you will be doing
- Serve as the technical lead for Workday Payroll
- Configure business processes, calculated fields, and reporting
- Troubleshoot payroll issues and support integrations
- Build and maintain advanced Workday reports and dashboards
- Ensure data accuracy across payroll, absence, and time tracking
- Support Workday releases, testing, and system enhancements
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and solutions
- Validate payroll-related system outputs and resolve configuration and data issues.
- Partner directly with Payroll stakeholders to design scalable, sustainable solutions that ensure operational continuity.
- Support and troubleshoot payroll integrations.
- Configure and enhance Workday modules with emphasis on Payroll, Absence, and Time Off.
- Maintain business process frameworks, condition rules, and security roles aligned to enterprise data governance standards.
- Serve as Tier 2/3 escalation point for complex Workday technical issues.
What you likely bring
- 5+ years of Workday technical experience with specifically with Payroll
- Strong expertise in Workday Reporting (calculated fields, dashboards, composite reports)
- Solid understanding of Workday data structure, security, and business processes
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret, reconcile, and validate complex HR and payroll datasets.
- Experience supporting complex reporting and stakeholder needs
- Agility to adapt to change and ever-learning attitude
- Strong understanding of Workday security framework and business process configuration.
- Experience supporting executive-level reporting environments.
