About the Role

A leading company specialized in the distribution of medical equipment is seeking an International Buyer to ensure efficient procurement processes, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization within a highly regulated environment.

Position Objective

To manage the procurement of finished goods, packaging, and raw materials, as well as coordinate regulatory processes with COFEPRIS, ensuring quality standards, compliance, and timely delivery in import operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and develop international suppliers (wellness products, cosmetics, and/or raw materials), ensuring quality standards compliance.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, payment conditions, and lead times, focusing on cost optimization and supply continuity.
- Manage purchase orders and oversee shipping and import documentation in coordination with the logistics team.
- Coordinate the collection, validation,



and updating of regulatory documentation with suppliers and consultants to ensure compliance with COFEPRIS requirements.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on KPIs (quality, delivery times, and contractual compliance).
- Maintain updated information in ERP systems (supplier records, price lists, purchase orders, etc.).
- Collaborate with finance and foreign trade teams to ensure timely payments and efficient customs clearance.
- Support inventory planning and procurement forecasting aligned with demand and lead times.
- Research, analyze, and develop new integral markets and strategic suppliers.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in international purchasing.
- Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, healthcare, cosmetics) is highly desirable.
