Position Summary
The Superintendent is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of personnel involved in operations, manufacturing, quality assurance, and cost-efficiency initiatives. This role may oversee multiple departments and reports directly to the Plant Manager. The position also provides leadership and direction to a team of Production Supervisors.
Job Requirements
- 7-10 years of related professional experience in manufacturing or operations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluent English (required).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. visa.
- Willingness to relocate as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production personnel.
- Maintain targeted work-in-process (WIP) levels to meet production requirements.
- Ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Promote and ensure good housekeeping practices throughout the facility.
- Develop and lead a supervisory team capable of achieving and exceeding performance goals in production, training, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a highly productive workforce with low absenteeism and turnover while promoting employee engagement and morale.
- Control overhead costs and minimize downtime.
- Promote and ensure safe working conditions and safe work habits among associates.
- Ensure accurate payroll administration, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.
