The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Test Technician Lead and help ensure that the materials and products supporting our manufacturing operations meet established quality standards.

In this hands-on role, you will perform laboratory testing, analyze results, and maintain accurate quality records. Your work will support the evaluation of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. You will also collaborate with colleagues to investigate quality concerns, improve laboratory processes, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Conduct routine laboratory tests according to specifications and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment with appropriate guidance.
- Record test results accurately in laboratory notebooks and designated systems.
- Support investigations involving quality deviations, non-conformances, and customer concerns.
- Perform basic statistical analysis and prepare reports for review.
- Follow safety requirements, Good Laboratory Practices, and quality management systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes and procedures.
