You'll be part of a newly established Mexico City operations team, collaborating shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers in India and San Diego as part of a truly global, follow-the-sun operation. This is more than a network engineering role — it's your chance to grow your career at a Fortune 500 technology leader, work with cutting-edge infrastructure at enterprise scale, and help shape a brand-new team from the ground up.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate, monitor, and troubleshoot data center network infrastructure based on CLOS (spine-leaf) topologyPerform configuration changes, firmware upgrades, and maintenance activities on data center switching platformsRespond to data center network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution within established SLAsExecute standard change requests following established operational procedures and change management processesSupport data center interconnect (DCI) links and ensure reliable connectivity between facilitiesCollaborate with the India operations team on shift handoffs, shared ticket queues,



and operational continuityPartner with the architecture and design team in San Diego to implement approved data center network designs and standardsMaintain accurate documentation including CLOS fabric topology diagrams, cabling records, and configuration baselinesContribute to continuous improvement of operational processes, runbooks, and automation effortsRequired Qualifications3-5 years of hands-on experience in data center network operationsStrong understanding of CLOS (spine-leaf) network architecture and design principlesWorking knowledge of data center protocols and technologies (BGP/EVPN, VXLAN, ECMP, MC-LAG)Experience with data center switching platforms (Cisco Nexus, Arista, Juniper QFX, or equivalent)Familiarity with data center operational standards including cabling, labeling, and rack-and-stack proceduresStrong English communication skills — written and verbal — required for daily collaboration with integral teamsAbility to work on-site in Mexico City 5 days per weekPreferred QualificationsCisco CCNA/CCNP Data Center, Arista ACE, or Juniper JNCIS-DC certificationExperience working in a global, follow-the-sun operations modelFamiliarity with network automation and infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python)Understanding of server virtualization and container networking as it relates to data center fabricITIL Foundation or experience working within ITIL-based service management frameworksMinimum Qualifications3+ years of Networked Systems-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.5+ years of Networked Systems-related work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year,
