Position Summary.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating our client’s logístical operations and ensuring that all systems are updated with all supplier and shipping information; Coordinating import and export shipments, you’ll assist with customs clearance, inland transportation, bookings and cargo tracking, as well as handling any customer queries relating to deliveries

Key Accountabilities:
- Manage weekly and monthly loads programs with the retail customers.




- Coordinate shipments with freezers according to customer specs and Andes inventory process
- Answer general customer inquiries regarding customer order status, pricing, tracking, and bookings.
- Daily contact with suppliers regarding purchase order status, production completion dates, and booking dates.
- Manage invoice process through to accounting department.
- Compiling reports and providing support to other staff members.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Maintain excellent relations with logistics companies, carriers, and freezers.
- Communicate with customers as required to answer logistics-related questions and proactively resolve any issues that may arise
- Ensure that logistics planning is effectively carried out to meet service and cost targets.
