We are looking for a structured, engaging, and motivating English teacher to prepare a 12-year-old student for the Cambridge A2 Key (KET) exam.

Requirements Education

Licenciatura or Maestría in a relevant field, such as:
- English Teaching / ELT / TESOL
- Languages / Foreign Languages
- Education or Pedagogy

Teaching Certification

At least one formal English-teaching qualification, for example:
- Cambridge certifications (TKT, CELTA, DELTA)
- C1 or C2 certificate with methodology background
- TEFL / TESOL
- Teacher training diploma (UNAM, IPN, Anglo Mexicano, etc.)

Exam Preparation Experience (Essential)
- Experience preparing students for Cambridge exams (especially KET / A2 Key):
- Knowledge of exam format, scoring criteria, and timing
- Ability to teach all four skills (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking)
- Ability to design structured lessons aligned with exam objectives
- Experience working with students ages 10-14

Language Skills
- Advanced or proficient English level (C1 or C2 preferred)

Location & Availability




- Must currently reside in Mexico City or nearby areas
- Must be available for in-person teaching:
- Willing and able to travel to students’ locations within CDMX

Nice to Have
- Experience motivating pre-teens
- Access to Cambridge preparation materials
- Experience working with parents and providing progress feedback
- Availability for afternoons
