We are conducting a search for a Finance Controller to join the Mexico operations of a multinational travel technology organization headquartered in New York.
The company is experiencing continued growth across its integral markets and is currently implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 as part of a global ERP transformation initiative.
This position will play a key role in supporting the ERP implementation in Mexico while helping strengthen financial processes, reporting, and operational controls within the local organization.
The role will report directly to the Country General Manager in Mexico and work closely with Corporate Finance in New York, ensuring alignment with global financial standards and supporting the continued development of the local finance function.
Key Areas of Responsibility
ERP Implementation & Financial Systems
- Support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 in coordination with the global ERP team
- Document and analyze current financial processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Map the local chart of accounts to the global D365 structure and identify additional accounts required for statutory reporting
- Define how Mexican statutory requirements (SAT, VAT, tax reporting) will be managed within the new ERP environment
- Support integrations with external platforms including banking systems, SAT, BSP, and IATA
- Assist with the training and transition of the local finance team to the new ERP platform
Financial Operations & Governance
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Assist in monitoring cash flow and EBITDA performance
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
- Strengthen internal financial controls and reporting processes
- Support the development and structure of the local finance team
