As a Senior Buyer, you will play a critical role in securing the direct material supply that keeps our manufacturing plant running - balancing inventory, supplier delivery performance, and cost to support high-visibility projects across the business.



This role offers strong exposure across the organization and a clear path to grow into other areas of Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring direct material supply to support manufacturing continuity
- Monitoring inventory levels and coverage
- Following up on SOTD, ECN, ETO, E&O;, GRNI, and virtual processes
- Managing excess and obsolete inventory
- Negotiating deliveries with suppliers to meet demand, including in-person negotiations with suppliers based in China
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Executing processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, and cost accountability
- Approving and qualifying vendors to meet account needs
- Authorizing purchase orders and approving payments
- Analyzing price proposals, financial reports, and other data to support pricing decisions
- Preparing and reviewing requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages
