In this position.

As part of our Body Engineering team, you will drive the future of vehicle
architecture by designing, developing, and launching innovative underbody
structural systems. In this role, you will lead lightweight material strategies
and cross-functional engineering execution from initial concept through vehicle
launch, ensuring our vehicles exceed global safety, performance, and durability




standards while delivering exceptional value to customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll do...

* Lead end-to-end engineering design, 3D CAD modeling, and component release
for underbody structural assemblies from concept through production launch.
* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (Safety, NVH, Crash/CAE
simulation, and Adjacent Subsystems) to optimize structural performance,
safety compliance, and vehicle packaging.
* Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Supplier Quality teams to evaluate
suppliers, kick off production tooling, and achieve cost and mass targets.
* Develop and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP&R;), Design Failure Mode
and Effects Analyses (DFMEA), and root-cause problem-solving methodologies
(8D, Fishbone, DOE).
* Oversee prototype vehicle build events, physical testing validation, and
plant-level engineering sign-offs during pre-production and launch p
