About the role
The Senior Systems Engineer performs total-system analysis throughout the product lifecycle, including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. The role converts customer and product requirements into integrated system solutions while accounting for technical,



schedule, cost, supportability, and risk constraints.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sr Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation.
Conduct total-system cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses.
Evaluate technical alternatives using appropriate system-level criteria.
Manage configuration processes and changes.
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies.
Allocate system requirements to subsystems and components.
Define and manage interfaces among mechanical, electrical, controls, and software elements.
Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Conduct architectural exploration and evaluate alternative system solutions.
Decompose customer specifications and system-level requirements into subsystem and piece-part requirements.
