Position Summary

The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services—including assessment, intervention, consultation, and prevention—to support all students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional well-being. This role requires cultural responsiveness, an understanding of diverse student needs, and a commitment to building strong relationships with students, families, and staff.

This is a 10-month position. The salary for this position will be $49,037 to $89,059 annually, based on experience and in accordance with the current, negotiated Salamanca Teachers Association (STA) Contract. Key Responsibilities
- Promote Learning Excellence by conducting assessments and interventions that support academic achievement and individual learning needs.
- Build Respectful Relationships with students, families, and community partners.




- Provide individual and group counseling using trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices.
- Demonstrate Effective Communication when consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to develop coordinated support plans.
- Collaborate with school teams to design interventions that address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
- Support prevention programs, including social-emotional learning, mental wellness, and positive behavior supports.
- Advocate for equitable access to services and appropriate accommodations for all students.
- Model Continuous Improvement by using data, feedback, and professional learning to refine practices and enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives that strengthen inclusive practices and support overall student well-being.
