We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Controller to support and strengthen our accounting operations. This role is adecuado for a senior accounting professional ready to take the next step toward a Controller position, combining strong technical expertise with leadership and business partnering. Key Responsibilities
Support the oversight of general accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end and year-end close processes. Assist in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and fostering a positive team environment. Ensure accuracy, timeliness,
and integrity of financial data and reporting. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to support decision-making.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives. Support external audit processes, including preparation of documentation and coordination with auditors. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting operations. Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data, generate reports, and support business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred). 6–9 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting. Exper
