Project Overview: In this role, you will be a key driver in building and modernizing complex, content-rich web platforms. You will join a collaborative engineering team focused on creating highly tailored WordPress experiences, leveraging modern PHP 8.x, React, and Gutenberg. A significant part of the project involves migrating existing systems from a Laravel architecture into a robust, scalable WordPress environment. As a Senior PHP & WordPress Engineer,



you will architect thoughtful domain logic, build dynamic editorial experiences, and utilize AI-assisted development tools (like Claude Code) daily to accelerate and elevate your engineering output.
Key Responsibilities
Modern PHP Development: Design and build robust backend systems using modern PHP 8.x, strict typing, object-oriented design, and dependency management via Composer.
WordPress Architecture: Develop custom plugins, hooks, filters, custom post types, and REST APIs while adhering to top-tier WordPress security and caching practices.
Editorial Experience: Build custom Gutenberg blocks and dynamic editorial interfaces using React and the @wordpress/* package ecosystem.
System Design & Migration: Architect scalable application structures, defining clear domain logic, service boundaries, and data models, while assisting in migrations from legacy Laravel systems.
