ABOUT THE ROLE The Demand Planning Sr prepares business related analyses and research for Supply Chain, Materials Management, and/or Logistics.
The individual prepares forecasts, analyzes trends and related to Distribution or Warehouse, Inventory or Material Control, Logistics, Planning or Scheduling, and/or Traffic or Transportation and uses the analyses to compile and prepare reports,



graphs and charts of data and/or ensure efficient production.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Maintain ongoing relationships with sales, marketing, finance, procurement, and manufacturing teams to understand the factors driving demand forecasting. Evaluate sales team forecasts and routine executions (historical data, seasonality, market trends, special offers, budgets, etc.) through relevant data analysis. Improve forecast accuracy (statistical models, software, etc.) with cross-functional coordination actions. Coordinate client projects with the Sales and Supply Planning department.
Adjust forecasting rules based on demand and market trends. Analyze quantitative and financial forecasts, report on forecast KPIs, and propose improvements. Lead forecast meetings as part of the internal S&OP; process. Drive alignment and divergence with respect to the Annual Business Plan.
