The Staff Accountant will support the accounting function with a strong focus on U.S. GAAP compliance and SOX internal controls. This role is hands-on and detail-oriented, contributing to accurate financial reporting, month-end close, and ongoing control activities in a U.S.-based environment.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with
U.S. GAAP Support month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and variance analysis Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports Ensure compliance with
SOX controls , including documentation, testing, and remediation support Participate in internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit requests Review transactions to ensure accuracy, proper classification,



and adherence to accounting policies Support
AP
and
AR
activities as needed, including accruals and reviews Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and timely reporting Identify process improvement opportunities related to accounting and internal controls
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a
U.S.-based
or multinational environment Strong knowledge of
U.S. GAAP Hands-on experience with
SOX
compliance and internal controls Experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting Proficiency in
Excel
(formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) Experience with
ERP
systems
(NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar preferred) Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) Exposure to audits (internal or external)
