To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Purchasing Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
The Purchasing Manager will be reporting directly to Materials Manager, will be responsible for overseeing activities related to the procurement of Direct materials, parts, components and equipment. Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in procurement consistent with delivery requirements and quality specifications.
What a typical day looks like:
- Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
- Establishes goals and objectives for purchasing department.
- Manage and lead a team of buyers and expeditors to meet procurement and supplier management objectives
- Interface with procurement groups in updating and maintaining company procurement strategies
- Implement processes with suppliers to improve on time delivery and Purchase Price Variance
- Supervise the team in the management of the supply chain to achieve continuous timely supply of parts and services
- Prepares, approves and issues purchase orders and change notices through subordinates.
- Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
- Ensures continuity of raw material supply to support production schedules and balances with achieving inventory level targets.
