Position Description
Title:Buyer Planner
Business Platform:Commercial and Residential
Business Unit:Comfort Control
Location: Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico
Reports to: Materials Supervisor
Job ID:
Purchase of components and raw materials used on the manufacturing of Finished Goods.
Responsibilities:
- Will analyze component requirements through current MRP system.
- Placing and management of purchase orders with suppliers assigned.
- To ensure that the delivery of materials meets Production Schedule requirements.
- Works with suppliers for any supplier delivery issues and to ensure on time delivery of its orders.
- Works with Supplier Quality Engineering for management, sorting, reworking and replacement of materials for quality rejections as needed.
- Manages Engineering Changes implementation on components.
- Works with suppliers and on the implementation of pull systems.
- Set inventory goals for each component and supplier and meets these goals to guarantee supply but avoid excess.
- Work with different levels on the organization to measure and improve metrics with the supplier
