Title:Buyer Planner

Business Platform:Commercial and Residential

Business Unit:Comfort Control

Location:Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico

Reports to: Materials Supervisor





Purchase of components and raw materials used on the manufacturing of Finished Goods.

Job Responsabilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and customer orders.
- Execute MRP planning activities using JD Edwards (JDE).
- Maintain planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, lot sizing).
- Ensure raw material availability to prevent production disruptions.
- Identify supply risks and escalate proactively.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing process for raw materials and components (metals, electronic components, plastics, HVAC-related materials).
- Handle overseas suppliers (Asia, Europe, LATAM or other regions).
- Monitor international lead times, transit times, and customs processes
- Coordinate freight forwarders and logistics teams for import shipments
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and Incoterms with general suppliers.
- Track supplier performance (OTD, quality, responsiveness).
