Plant Quality Manager

Location: San Luis Potosí, S.L.P.

Salary: Attractive (based on experience)

Position Objective

Provide leadership and assume responsibility for the planning, development, implementation, and management of Plant Quality activities, ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System and guaranteeing the timely delivery of high-quality products and services.

Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Plant Quality Management System.
- Lead and coordinate the Quality team (metrologists, inspectors, and area personnel).
- Supervise receiving inspection and in-process plant inspection activities.
- Manage and follow up on customer claims and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with containment and cost reduction targets assigned to the Quality department.
- Collaborate with Production, Materials, and Manufacturing Support departments to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery objectives, promoting customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and review documentation related to Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment.
- Participate in internal and external audits.




- Availability to travel occasionally (10% to 15%).

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing plant.
- At least 2 years of experience in supervision or people leadership.
- Previous management experience or willingness to obtain external certifications in Management and/or Quality.
- Mandatory experience in the metal-mechanic industry.
- Knowledge of TIG and MIG welding processes and color coding standards.
- Advanced English proficiency is mandatory (C1 level) due to direct customer interaction and claim management.
- CWI welding certification is desirable.
