At Globant, we are looking for a Senior Java Engineerbased in Mexico City (CDMX)with availability for on-call support. This role requires a strong technical background in Java development combined with infrastructure and SRE practices to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of our systems.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Support production environments with on-call rotations.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
What We Are Looking For:
Must Have:
- Strong experience with Java.
- Solid experience with Cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with observability toolssuch as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or New Relic.
- Hands-on experience with Dockerfor container management.
- Experience with Kubernetesfor orchestration.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Strong knowledge of Linuxenvironments.
- Experience working with infrastructure and SRE practices.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Quarkus.
