The EVDD PVT Engineer position is located at Hermosillo Assembly Plant (HSAP) and has responsibility for Electrical/Electronic Hardware/SW quality on the P758 Maverick /CX430 Bronco Sport vehicle lines. At a high level, the EVDD PVT engineer is responsible for leading quality improvements on EVDD owned systems which includes

Sync/TCU/ECG modules/IPC/ACM/DSPUSB Ports associated with the Following VFGs

V80. Sync Audio and Cluster

V84. In House Module Hardware

V85.Connected Vehicle and Services

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
- Previous experience as product/quality engineer, preferably in electrical/software, with a knowledge of quality containment and corrective actions.
- Successful completion of green belt training and/or black belt certification.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience working in GSAR/JIRA/BSAQ/QED/SREA/AIMS /WERS and IRIS/SIPMSN or willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work well with people,



specifically in an assembly plant environment and across multiple cultures.

- Prioritize and drive interim containment actions (ICA) and permanent corrective actions (PCA) to address customer quality concerns from various sources (i.e., Warranty, Executive Escalations, Social Media Feedback, Technical Hotline and Internal plant Quality issues)
- Take a central role in resolving customer issues and reducing warranty:
- Take ownership of customer critical issues and ensure resolution is achieved.
- Warranty claims analysis (i.e., reading claims, contact dealerships/utilize connected vehicle data for further technical claim details, confirm parts return/analysis)
- Bin claims into proper binning categories and track improvement actions through the Quality AI IRIS/SIMPSN system
- Develop/Manage/Own SIMPSN projects to track and document quality improvement actions to deliver Vehicle Line
