The purpose of the Cheerleading Activity Leader (by floor) is to provide a safe, engaging, and well-structured after-school program that promotes physical activity, teamwork, confidence, and school spirit among students. The role supports students’ social and emotional development through positive encouragement, discipline, and age-appropriate cheerleading skills.
The Activity Leader is responsible for supervising students by assigned floor, ensuring their safety at all times, and fostering an inclusive and respectful environment. The leader plans and delivers structured cheerleading activities that develop coordination, rhythm, strength, and collaboration, while reinforcing school values and positive behavior.
Additionally, the role includes maintaining clear communication with school staff, supporting transitions at the end of the activity, and ensuring students are dismissed safely according to school procedures.
