Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field
- 8+ years of communications within a multi-national company
- Media relations or crisis management background is required

Job summary
Amazon is seeking a high-judgment, self-motivated, and intuitive communications expert and business advisor to join the Operations Internal Communications team. You will primarily support Mexico and Brazil Customer Fulfillment and other business operations as needed. You will help define, strengthen, and amplify the operations culture by providing strategic communication counsel to executives, advising on programs, advocating for employees, driving thought leadership, and leading communications. You will provide strategic communication leadership for a team of two communicators and strategic counsel to cross-functional partners on a wide range of complex topics, manage issues, changes, and crisis communications; and execute on employee communications, programs, and experiences. You will insist on the highest standards, be right a lot, dive deep into details,



have a strong bias for action and sense of ownership, distill information to find common threads between projects, and be energized by juggling priorities. You'll keep composure in fast-moving situations, embrace ambiguity and changing tides, be able to quickly get up to speed on complex issues, anticipate employee questions/reactions, and quickly prepare thorough messaging strategies.
