As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of accounting function, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting as we launch and continue to grow our business. You’ll own critical components of the close process, assist in system implementation, and collaborate cross-functionally to streamline accounting processes.
Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close schedules
Support the preparation of financial statements and management reporting
Partner with the Plant Controller to bring accounting processes in-house
Assist with ERP and financial systems development (SAP experience preferred)
Manage bank accounts and treasury processes
Reconcile cash, AR/AP, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
Collaborate with Operations and Product teams to ensure proper accounting for new initiatives
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation. Must be a public accountant
3–6 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting and/or IMMEX experience a plus)
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close procedures
Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience documenting processes and supporting system implementations
Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
