An enterprise client is seeking a Senior Compute & Cloud Engineer to join its Compute & Cloud Platform team. This role is responsible for designing, engineering, and evolving enterprise compute, virtualization, identity, backup, and cloud platforms that support business growth across global environments.

What You'll Do:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade Windows Server, VMware, and Microsoft Azure environments.
- Develop and maintain Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) solutions, including hybrid identity architectures.
- Design and support Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environments.
- Create and maintain platform standards, architecture documentation, and implementation frameworks.
- Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives, cloud adoption projects, and technology refresh programs.
- Own backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies using Veeam Backup & Replication.




- Develop and validate recovery procedures to ensure platform resilience and operational readiness.
- Implement secure-by-design principles and support vulnerability management initiatives.
- Build automation solutions for provisioning, configuration management, patching, and operational validation.
- Improve platform observability through monitoring, logging, and performance analytics.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and support strategic infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, cloud engineering, or related disciplines.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Windows Server
- VMware vSphere
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, and resilient infrastructure platfor
