Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years will be considered in lieu of the bachelors degree requirement.
- Requires at least one of the following certifications: SecurityX, CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA
- Hands-On Expertise in the following:
- Unified Communications & Collaboration: Minimum of 5 years administering the Cisco Collaboration stack (CUCM, UCCX, Unity Connection, CER). Must have proven experience maintaining Cisco Expressways, Voice Gateways (ISR/VG), Analog Gateways, and Cisco Unified Border Elements (CUBEs).
- Identity & Network Access Control: Proficiency in Cisco ISE and 802.1X protocols. Ability to manage endpoint identity policies, troubleshoot authentication/authorization issues for UC devices, and ensure accurate hardware profiling within the network access architecture.
- Network Foundation (L2/L3):



Strong command of Campus Routing and Switching (Cisco Catalyst/Nexus). Ability to diagnose and resolve Layer 2 issues (VLANs, Spanning Tree, PoE) and Layer 3 issues (OSPF/BGP, QoS/DSCP) impacting voice and video traffic.
- Video Integration: Experience supporting multi-vendor video solutions (MS Teams Rooms, Webex, Polycom) and ensuring interoperability between legacy VTC hardware and modern cloud collaboration platforms.
- Configuration Management & Documentation: Experience maintaining Network Topology Diagrams (Visio), port/cable maps, system SOPs, configuration backups, version control, and formal change-management records for audit readiness and disaster recovery.
- Deep understanding of SIP, including message flows, call negotiation, early media, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Practical experience with major SBC platforms: Cisco CUBE, Ribbon, Audio codecs.
- Understanding of network security principles (ACLs, NAT, IPS/IDS).
