PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Accounting and Finance Analyst is responsible for various corporate finance functions, including month-end closing, reporting and analysis, support statutory and internal audits, fixed asset administration, review & reporting of Internal controls for financial reporting & other adhoc projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
Perform monthly variance analysis vs. forecast and prior periods
Review and improve internal controls and Accounting/Finance policies and procedures
Reports and administers Fixed Asset/Other Asset reporting and administration, including leading fixed asset verifications.
Completes Internal control financial reporting (ICFR) testing and reporting, including planning and project management.
Prepares tax filings and coordinate with Ralliant corporate on state/federal tax compliance and accounting activities.
Assists finance manager with ongoing and special projects as assigned, including implementation of new accounting standards.
Monitor, control,



and oversee accounts receivable activities to ensure timely collection of customer payments and maintain healthy cash flow.
Review aging reports, follow up on overdue balances, resolve payment discrepancies, and support month-end closing activities.
Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to minimize outstanding receivables and reduce credit risk.
Supervise accounts payable processes to ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.
Review payment schedules, reconcile supplier statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain compliance with company policies and financial controls.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors in Accounting
Qualified Chartered Accountant
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
2-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Exceptional communication skills
Strong PC and Excel skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
