Qualifications
Strong knowledge of mainframe environments and related tools, with practical experience in mainframe operations and support.
Hands-on experience in software development for enterprise systems, including design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
Proficiency in COBOL programming and CICS transaction processing for developing and enhancing mainframe applications.
Experience working with databases in a mainframe context, including data modeling, querying, and performance optimization.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), version control, and change management processes.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with distributed teams and clients.
Analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail when diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
Relevant technical degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
